Top Country's Military and Combat Helicopter
And here they are, engineered with advanced technological system, they are the world's best choppers on land and in air.
AH-1Z Super Cobra

Capable. Flexible. Multi-mission. The ultimate in attack helicopters. The powerful AH-1Z delivers state of the art dynamics, weapons and avionics to incorporate the latest in survivability. With anti-armor capability, it engages and defeats the broadest array of threats at standoff ranges that defy imagination. The AH-1Z is a design for the 21st century. Produced to meet the stringent requirements of the USMC today – its aircraft design brings together proven AH-1W airframe reliability, a new composite four bladed rotor system and powerful T700-GE-401engines. With virtually identical front and rear cockpits, fully integrated weapons, avionics and communications systems the AH-1Z flies with the most advanced aircraft survivability equipment in the world. The AH-1Z is truly state-of-the-art.

Target identification is critical in the complex post-cold war and urban conflict environments. The AH-1Z Target Sight System (TSS) incorporates a third-generation FLIR and currently provides the longest range, lowest jitter and highest weapons' accuracy possible of any helicopter sight in the world. In addition, the completely passive and automatic system scans the battlefield without emitting trackable radar, positively identifying and tracking multiple targets at ranges beyond the maximum range of its weapons system.

Designed for lower maintenance, with the helicopter mechanic in mind, the AH-1Z is one of the most reliable aircraft made. Maintenance features of the AH-1Z include:
Boeing V-22

Range, speed and flexibilty. Hard rules once defined by the limitations of legacy helicopters. The V-22 offers twice the speed, three times the payload, five times the range, and can fly more than twice as high as older rotorcraft it is destined to replace. It is the world's first production tilt rotor combining the vertical performance of a helicopter with the high speed and range of a fixed wing aircraft. At twice the speed of a helicopter, the Osprey carries 24 combat troops, or up to 20,000 pounds (9,072 kg) of internal cargo or 15,000 pounds (6,804 kg) of external cargo. Its cargo bay can accommodate nine litters with medical personnel and equipment.

Two Rolls-Royce AE1107C Liberty turboshaft engines supply power for the V-22, producing 6,150 shp (4,586 kW) each. For safe, reliable flight, the V-22's cross-coupled transmissions allow either engine, separately or together, to power the rotors. Designed with folding rotors and a rotating wing, the V-22 fits nicely in the maritime base. It stores compactly on board an aircraft carrier or assault ship in a minimal footprint. With air-to-air refueling capability, it meets the U.S. Navy requirements for combat search and rescue, fleet logistics support, and special warfare support. The V-22's multi-mission capability is like no other. From all manner of assault, support or transport to whatever the need requires in a speed-to-scene, coupled with a hovering capability, the Osprey delivers faster, better - and without peer.
ARH-70A ( Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter)

Detect a threat. Destroy the threat. Save lives. Finite rules of engagement that have stood the test of time and hold true even today. While the rules have stood steadfast, never before has there been an emphasis on the capability to quickly identify and decidedly eliminate a threat, in an effort to ultimately save lives. The new Bell Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter (ARH-70A) was developed to meet the U.S. Army's need for a fast, agile armed reconnaissance helicopter and meet it today, bringing 21st Century capability to the age-old rules of engagement.

With the capacity to expand potential, power and capability, the Bell ARH-70A is the perfect breed for ARH missions. With unmatched capability, the Bell ARH-70A is designed to shorten battles and save lives. The ARH-70A is powered by one Honeywell HTS900-2 turbine engine rated at 970 shp (723kW). This proven engine platform not only provides optimum performance, maneuverability and confidence for an array of missions. Not only can the ARH-70A track its prey, it can move in for the kill. It can be equipped with an array of weapons systems including: a 0.50-cal Gatling gun, a 7-tube 2.75" FFAR launcher or as many as 38 tubes at one time. Whether by road, sea or air, the ARH-70A provides simple, long-range deployability. It has been designed to occupy a minimal footprint for both storage and logistic efficiencies.
UH-1Y

Within the familiar silhouette and proven heritage, Bell has applied the latest aerospace technology and manufacturing process to create the new UH-1Y. Airframe improvements, twin General Electric T700 engines, a 21st century “glass” cockpit, and advanced systems - all deliver the utmost in a tactical utility helicopter. The UH-1Y is a design for the 21st century. Produced to meet the stringent requirements of the USMC today – its aircraft design brings together proven UH-1N airframe reliability, a new composite four bladed rotor system and powerful T700-GE-401C engines. With fully integrated weapons, avionics and communications systems the UH-1Y flies with the most advanced aircraft survivability equipment in the world. The UH-1Y is truly state-of-the-art.

Built for expedient maintenance in the field as well as extended periods of trouble-free operation, the UH-1Y offers industry leading reliability at the lowest-through-life cost. Designed to withstand the harshest, most challenging environmental operation, the aircraft comes “wet assembled” and incorporates aluminum transmission cases to prevent corrosion. With unique semi-automatic main rotor blade folding capability, this helicopter moves and stores easily in confined areas. With either new or remanufactured options for the existing fleet owner, the UH-1Y program greets prospective operators with tremendous ownership flexibility. As the aircraft of choice for the U.S. Marine Corps, the four-bladed, twin engine UH-1Y meets the Corps' stringent requirements with its 70% life cycle cost saving against the competition.
OH-58D KIOWA WARRIOR

Offering unparalleled war-fighting capabilities, the Bell OH-58D Kiowa Warrior delivers the goods on the bad guys. Combat-proven world-wide, in long-range day and night target acquisition, this warrior-lookout claims multiple armaments. With characteristic low infrared and acoustic signatures, as well as multi-purpose quick-change kits, the Kiowa can be armed and ready to fight less than 10 minutes after off-load from a C-130. The mast-mounted sight enables the Kiowa Warrior to fight both day and night, at the maximum range of its weapons systems - and with minium exposure. The aircraft remains concealed during all but a few seconds of an autonomous engagement, making it considerably more survivable than gunships with nose-mounted sensors.
Systems inside the mast include:

Like no other armed reconnaissance helicopter in the world, the OH-58D survives combat with a countermeasure suite, which includes:
Huey II

The Huey II Modernization Program is the only OEM approved UH-1H performance up-grade available today. The Huey II combines all new commercial dynamic components with the reliable Honeywell T53-L-703 engine, leading to an increase in hover performance of nearly 275% in hot conditions. In addition, the Huey II up-grade increases the max gross weight to 10,500 lbs, while lowering direct operating cost by nearly 30%.

With a fielded fleet of over 150 aircraft operating in more than 10 countries, it becomes apparent that the Huey II is the preferred multi-mission, utility platform. BellAero's US Helicopter facility in Ozark, Alabama has become the Huey II 'Center of Excellence', having installed over 90% of all Huey II kits to date. In addition to the kit installation, US Helicopter completely refurbishes the UH-1H basic airframe, provides a complete re-wire package, up-dates the Avionics, and offers a comprehensive selection of mission-specific kits and customizing.

So whether your mission is troop transport into high altitudes, medical evacuation in hot desert conditions, or VIP transport to and from remote bases, choose the affordable helicopter with the reputation for safety, reliability, and performance...choose the Huey II.
